The CHIRAD Foundation has been established to deliver global education and training solutions in Health Informatics.

Working with multiple organisations it will enable health informaticians around the world access high quality education and training, based on a not for profit model.

CHIRAD (Centre for Health Informatics Research and Development - www.chirad.org) is the major stakeholder in the Foundation, and is itself a not for profit organisation based in the UK.

CHIRAD Africa, based in South Africa, will also be participating in the Foundation's activities by providing high quality education and training and other services across Africa.
